This super thin copper foil tape is a special cable for induction loops and allows installation directly on the concrete floor under for ex. a plastic or textile carpet. The copper foil can be used for all types of induction loop installations but is especially suitable for existing premises and for installation of SLS systems. The foil can either be taped or glued onto the floor or be mounted with nails, screws or staples. The copper foil is enclosed in a transparent plastic isolation which makes the installation of two or more cables on top of each other possible. The foil is 1" wide and the thickness, incl. plastic isolation, is less than 1/8" thick, which results in a cable area equal to 12 gage wire. The copper foil has lower inductance compared to normal cable. The cable area is therefore sufficient even in big loop systems which normally would require a thicker cable.
